Ages 3-12 months

The goal of the Infant is for the teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and comfortable environment for each child. This is a critical age and each child is at a different level so we take great care in making sure that each child is interacting with level appropriate equipment. Throughout the day our infant teacher engages with the children through song, dance, and reading. Additionally, we place a high emphasis in engaging the child through stimulating activities such as floor play and tummy time. Each day the infant teacher is responsible for filling out a daily report to go home with the child, in order to promote communication between teacher and parent.
Ages 12-24 months

The goal for the toddler classroom is for the teacher to foster an environment that encourages language and motor development, in order for the children to comfortably engage in converstion with both their peers and teachers. Throughout the day, the children interact with their teachers through reading, singing, dancing, and age appropriate art work to be displayed and sent home. Children are monitored and assisted by teachers during all meal times, but are encouraged to begin the development of self feeding. Each day the toddler teacher is responsible for filling out a daily report to go home with the child, in order to promote communication between teacher and parent.
Ages 24-36 months

In this high energy classroom, the goal is to create an environment in which children can strengthen both their fine and gross motor skills. The two year old class has a daily curriculum offered to help stimulate the children at circle time and prepare them for similar curriculum in the preschool class. Additionally, children are given art projects weekly to encourage creative thought, which they are able to manipulate on their own. In order to prepare for the preschool class, potty training is also offered per parent request. Each day the two year old teacher is responsible for filling out a daily report to go home with the child, in order to promote communication between teacher and parent.
Ages 3-5 years old

The goal of the preschool classroom is to set up a comfortable setting in order to create an optimal learning environment. Work is available in a wide array of interests and is rotated throughout the year to keep the children interested. As the year progresses, the preschool teachers make the work more advance, if necessary, to coincide with the level the children are learning at the time. There is daily curriculum set up in the classroom for the children for the year to help maintain balance and structure in the classroom. Lesson plans are made available and given to parents to keep them aware of what their children are doing in the class. The preschool teachers take considerable meausres to fully prepare the children that will be transitioning to kindergarten.
